Students at a school outside Kyiv are learning to pilot FPV drones, as well as to assemble and repair them. The free classes are intended for the children of Ukrainian servicemembers, reports CBS News, whose journalists attended the lessons.
Training takes place in a school corridor about 30 kilometers south of the capital. After a recent attack, the windows in the room are covered with wooden boards.
The course is part of the Tech Explorers program run by the Ukrainian non-profit organization Dignitas. The goal of the classes is to incorporate the realities of the war with Russia into the educational process.
