A girl named Elsa, whom the publication «Agentstvo. Novosti» calls the granddaughter of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, was discovered during analysis of a leak from the Federal Border Service database. She is the daughter of Katerina Tikhonova and choreographer Igor Zelensky, reports TSN.
According to the investigation, Elsa was born in December 2017. In the border database she was recorded under her mother’s surname — Elsa Igorivna Tikhonova. Thus, she received her last name from her mother and her patronymic from her father.
The girl left Russia for the first time shortly before her second birthday. On 11 November 2019 she, together with her parents, flew to Munich on a business jet of the German airline Air Hamburg, which is now called VistaJet. The trip lasted about two months. It was during this period that Igor Zelensky worked in Munich.
About two years later the girl crossed the border again — this time she flew to Croatia on a Bombardier Global 5000 aircraft. During both foreign trips she was listed in the border service database as Elsa Igorivna Tikhonova.
