Seven fires in a day: over 5.5 hectares of grass and shrubs burned in Mykolaiv region

17 September in the territory of Mykolaiv Oblast recorded seven fires. In Mykolaiv a building that is currently not in use caught fire. Firefighters extinguished the blaze over a small area.
Other fires occurred in open areas, where dry grass and shrubs burned:
- three fires — in Mykolaiv District;
- two fires — in Voznesensk District;
- one fire — in Bashtanka District.
The total area of dry vegetation fires exceeded 5.5 ha. Units of the Main Department responded to all received reports.
