In Odesa, a man blackmailed seven girls aged 10–11 and distributed child pornography
The prosecution requests that the suspect be detained without bail
In Odesa, a 38-year-old local resident has been accused of recruiting children for sexual exploitation, sexual corruption of minors, and the production, possession and distribution of child pornography. This was reported by the Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the investigation, seven girls aged from 10 to 11 years were victimized by the man’s actions. The prosecution is asking the court to keep him in custody without the right to bail.
Investigators believe that from September 2024 to July 2026 the man contacted children on social networking sites. He then moved the correspondence to Telegram, sent the girls his own nude photographs and demanded intimate photos and videos from them.
According to the investigation, the man used blackmail, psychological pressure and threats to obtain the materials. He passed the obtained photos and videos on to other minors.
Law enforcement also established that the man purchased access to resources containing child pornography and downloaded files onto his own devices.
He is charged under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine related to recruiting people for sexual exploitation, sexual corruption of minors and illegal actions involving pornographic materials.
