A morning drone attack damaged seven houses and three cars in Mykolaiv
According to preliminary reports, no one was injured during the attack
Damaged houses and cars – in Mykolaiv police document the consequences of another war crime by the Russian Federation. In the morning of September 2 the enemy attacked Mykolaiv with a UAV. As a result of the attack, according to preliminary information, seven private houses and three cars were damaged. As of now, no casualties.
Investigators from the department for investigating crimes committed in the context of an armed conflict of the investigative directorate, officers of the investigative-operational group of the local police department and the Mykolaiv district police department, and specialists from the regional police explosive ordnance disposal unit are working at the scene.
Police are recording the damage, collecting physical evidence and documenting further war crimes committed by the aggressor country under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Website Facebook Instagram YouTube
The police urge citizens not to ignore air raid warnings and to promptly proceed to shelters.
If explosive items are found, immediately report them to the emergency lines 101, 102 or 112.
According to preliminary data, 15 residential buildings were damaged.
About 90 windows were blown out in the houses, and the roofs of six were damaged. The exterior wall of one house was damaged.
Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych reported that municipal workers are already dealing with the aftermath of the attack, and specialists are inspecting the damaged houses and assisting residents.
A commission inspection of the damaged property is being carried out by the Department of State Architectural and Construction Control of the Mykolaiv City Council.
