Mykolaiv's trolleybuses provided nearly 11 million rides over eight months
In August, ridership on the city's electric public transport totaled 1.4 million trips
From January to August 2026, Mykolaiv’s trolleybuses provided nearly 11 million trips. The enterprise reported this.
In August, passenger traffic on the city’s trolleybuses reached 1.4 million trips.
The figures are generated by an automated accounting system installed in the trolleybuses. It counts passenger entries and exits while not collecting personal data.
The information obtained by the system makes it possible to track changes in passenger flows and analyze route performance.
“Thank you to all the passengers who choose our transport for their daily needs — we work to become better for you,” the enterprise noted.
It was previously reported that in the first half of the year Mykolaiv’s trolleybuses carried a record 8 million passengers.
