A shelter for patients, medical staff and residents has started operating at a Mykolaiv polyclinic. The Primary Health Care Centers of Mykolaiv continue to systematically work on creating proper and safe conditions for employees, patients and visitors. Another important step in this direction was taken by one of the city’s polyclinics. This was reported by the Department of Health.

The facility’s basement has already undergone a thorough inspection by a special commission that included specialists in civil protection and health care.

In the presence of the Center director Viktoriia Zamikhanovska, the commission thoroughly assessed the technical and sanitary condition of the premises, its compliance with established standards and safety parameters.

Following the inspection, an official Inspection Act of the object was drawn up, which confirmed that the basement is fully recommended for use as a protective structure. And since 24 August the shelter has been operating around the clock.

This allows patients, medical personnel and residents of nearby buildings to remain safe during air raid alerts.
