"Shaheds" and "Molniyas" strike the Mykolaiv region again: people injured, hospital struck

During 22 August 2026 and in the early morning of 23 August 2026, Russian forces again attacked Mykolaiv Oblast with strike drones. The strikes hit Mykolaiv, the Halytsynivska and Snihurivska communities. As a result of the attacks, a man and a woman were injured, and a transport infrastructure facility, a residential house, an outbuilding and a hospital were damaged.

The Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported on the consequences of the enemy attacks as of 07:00 on 23 August.

During 22 August, Russian occupying forces attacked the oblast with strike UAVs of the “Shahed” type.

In Mykolaiv, a 46-year-old man was injured in the attacks. He was hospitalized in a medical facility. His condition is reported as stable.

Also in the city, a transport infrastructure facility and an outbuilding were damaged by the Russian strikes.

Mykolaiv district

During 22 August, Russian forces attacked the Halytsynivska community with a drone of the “Molniya” type.

As a result of the strike, a 38-year-old woman was injured. She received all necessary medical care. She does not require hospitalization and will continue treatment on an outpatient basis.

The attack also damaged a private residential house.

Bashtansky district

In the early morning of 23 August, Russian occupying forces again attacked the Snihurivska community with a “Molniya”-type drone.

In Snihurivka, the enemy strike damaged a hospital. According to the Regional Military Administration, no people were injured in this attack.

Thus, over the past day and in the early morning of 23 August, as a result of Russian attacks in Mykolaiv region, two people were injured — a 46-year-old man in Mykolaiv and a 38-year-old woman in the Halytsynivska community. In addition, a transport infrastructure facility, an outbuilding, a private house and a hospital were damaged.
