Art therapy was organized in Mykolaiv for the mothers and wives of defenders
The art-therapy master class was led by the psychologist of Caritas Mykolaiv UGCC
Art therapy for mothers and wives of Defenders was organized in Mykolaiv. At the Mykolaiv City Center for War Veterans’ Support, a meeting took place for the mothers and wives of our Defenders — those who wait, support, search, remember and hold their front every day.
This time the participants took part in an art-therapeutic master class together with a psychologist from “Caritas Mykolaiv UGCC”. They created their own tote bags with motankas, talked, shared thoughts, laughed and simply allowed themselves to put aside daily worries for a few hours.
Creative sessions are a space of support where you do not have to explain your pain, do not have to hold yourself together with all your might and can simply be among those who understand.
The meeting was the result of joint work by the Association of Mothers and Wives of the Defenders of Ukraine — Mykolaiv region, the Mykolaiv City Center for War Veterans’ Support and partners from “Caritas Mykolaiv UGCC”.
