The head of the children’s affairs service of one of the city councils of Voznesensk district was notified of suspicion of receiving $2500 for alleged influence on the officials of TCC and SP. This was reported on 12 August 2026 by Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the investigation, the official knew how the dismissal of servicemen from service for family circumstances takes place. He allegedly promised the serviceman to help obtain the necessary medical documents, as well as to influence the TCC employees so that they would make the required decision. For such assistance the man allegedly demanded $2500. The funds were handed to him in two parts — first $1000, and then another $1500. After that, law enforcement officers documented his actions.

The official was notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — receiving an unlawful benefit for influencing the decisions of officials. The court chose a preventive measure in the form of nighttime house arrest. If proven guilty, the man faces from two to five years of imprisonment.
