In Mykolaiv, a woman was killed and seven people were injured in a drone attack, police said
Two children are being treated as outpatients, and five other people were injured
3 August at about 23:33 Russian forces attacked Mykolaiv with drones. As a result of the attack, a 89-year-old woman was killed and seven people were injured.
Wounds were sustained by two girls aged 2 and 12. Medical staff took them to a medical facility; the children are currently receiving outpatient treatment. Also injured were an 81-year-old man and four women aged from 70 to 83.
Several private residential houses were destroyed. Another seven houses in the private sector, the windows of three apartment buildings, and vehicles were damaged. A fire occurred, which firefighters extinguished.
At the scene, investigators from the department for investigating crimes committed in the context of an armed conflict of the regional police investigative directorate, police investigative-operational groups of the Mykolaiv District Police Department, specialists from the regional police explosive ordnance disposal service, rescuers and other relevant services are working.
Investigators are documenting the consequences of a war crime by Russian forces against the civilian population, recording damage and collecting physical evidence as part of a pre-trial investigation under part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
