Mykolaiv is once again among the best: young roboticists have become champions of Ukraine
Smarter than everyone else: the I WILL team won the championship title
As reported by the Mykolaiv City Council on July 7, 2026, the team of the Mykolaiv robotics club I WILL won the national final of the international educational program FIRST LEGO League Challenge, which took place within the nationwide STEM-festival ROBOTICA + ROBOFIRST-2026.
The competition featured 25 of the strongest teams from across Ukraine. Based on the contest trials, the Mykolaiv roboticists showed the best result and claimed the title of Ukrainian champions for the 2025–2026 season in the FIRST LEGO League Challenge category.
The city council noted that this victory is evidence of the high level of STEM education in Mykolaiv, the professional work of mentors, the perseverance of participants, and the support of their parents. The Mykolaiv community congratulated team I WILL, its coaches and everyone who contributed to this success, and wished them new achievements, interesting projects and victories on the international stage.
