Mykolaiv sabre fencer and Olympic champion Olga Kharlan posted new touching photos on Facebook dedicated to her pregnancy.
In the photos the athlete showed small knitted booties made by her mother, and the post instantly gathered a wave of warm congratulations and sincere words of support from followers.
“I’m so delighted by these little things. I still can’t believe I’m going through this special journey. P.S. These tiny booties were knitted by my mother,” Olga Kharlan wrote.
In the comments, users called the post very heartfelt and wished the expectant mother an easy pregnancy and happy motherhood.
In 2024 Olga Kharlan announced her engagement to Italian sabre fencer Luigi Samele: the athlete made a romantic proposal on the shore of the ocean in the USA, and the couple have not yet formalized their marriage, focusing on preparing for the birth of their child together, which will be a new important chapter for them.
