To the editorial office Korabeliv.Info May 24 2026 a complaint was received from residents of the building at 12‑V Korabeliv Avenue in the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv. People reported that during yesterday’s downpour an apartment on the 9th floor was flooded.
According to the residents, the problem arose after the replacement of the stormwater pipe on the roof. They claim the pipe was not properly secured, so during the heavy downpour it was torn off and rainwater began entering through the attic directly into the apartment. The residents believe the emergency occurred due to improper execution of the work or lack of oversight by LLC management company “Comfort District Plus”.
“This drainage pipe was simply hanging in the air, not fixed at all, and because of the negligence of LLC ‘MC “Comfort District Plus”’ this disaster happened,” – described the residents of the building at 12‑V Korabeliv Avenue the condition of the communications.
According to the people, after the flooding they called LLC management company “Comfort District Plus”, the city administration and the 101 emergency line. However, the complainants say they received no real help: they were only redirected back to the management company.
The situation raises questions not only about the quality of the work performed but also about the response of the services after the residents’ appeals. If water from the roof gets through the attic to an apartment on the top floor, the consequences can include not only damaged walls, ceiling or property, but also risks to the electrical wiring and the future condition of the building.
For residents of the Korabelnyi district such stories are especially painful: people regularly pay for building maintenance services, but in a critical moment they are often left alone with the problem while the responsible bodies pass them from one to another.
