Shahed struck Mykolaiv: the region once again endured a night under enemy drones
"The Great Army" against communities: eight FPV drones and artillery in Mykolaiv district
According to the Mykolaiv OVA, as of the morning of May 23 2026, over the past day Russian forces again attacked the Mykolaiv region with strike drones.
The enemy used Shahed-type UAVs in the region: “Shahed”. As a result of the attack in Mykolaiv, damage to an administrative building was recorded. According to official information, there were no casualties.
Separately, Mykolaiv Raion was under enemy strikes. During the day, Russian occupiers attacked eight times the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities with FPV drones. In addition, the enemy struck the Kutsurub community with artillery. According to the OVA, there are no casualties as a result of these shellings.
Despite the absence of casualties, the intensity of the attacks once again shows that the coastal communities of Mykolaiv region remain under constant pressure from Russian terror, and civilian infrastructure is among the enemy’s targets.
