Fled the scene of the accident: apparently rushing to the hospital: in Mykolaiv, the BMW driver didn't make it — crashed into a fence
In the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv, a BMW knocked down the fence of Hospital No. 5 and disappeared
On the night of Thursday, April 23, 2026, in the Korabelnyi District of the city of Mykolaiv a road traffic accident occurred near a medical facility. A black BMW with license plate VE 4932 NN crashed into the fence of City Hospital No. 5, which is located opposite the infectious disease ward on Samoylovycha Street.
The car literally smashed into the hospital’s concrete fence, causing significant damage. Given the nature of the destruction — a ruined fence and a heavily damaged front end of the vehicle — it can be assumed that the speed was considerable.
As reported to journalists by Korabelov.info, the press service of the Patrol Police of Mykolaiv Oblast said that the hospital’s security guard called law enforcement to the scene.
“When police arrived at the scene of the accident, the driver was not in the vehicle. According to the press officer, the owner of the car has not yet been found.”
At the moment, law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident and are searching for the owner of the vehicle. No information about possible injured persons has been received.
