New "content": teachers are filmed on TikTok without permission and it's called a joke
On the social network TikTok, the spread of videos created using teachers’ photos and video images without their consent has been recorded. In such videos, an unpleasant or mocking musical accompaniment is overlaid on the images, making the content openly offensive.
This trend has already caused concern in the educational community. In particular, at Novoodeskyi Lyceum No. 2 they drew attention to the problem and called not to ignore such cases. The school emphasizes that the use of teachers’ photos and videos without permission violates their rights and may have legal consequences, namely:
In addition, such “entertainments” create in children a distorted idea of respect for teachers and the acceptability of public humiliation.
In fact, this is not just jokes on social networks, but a digital form of bullying, which can seriously affect teachers’ psychological state and the atmosphere at school. The lyceum urges students and parents to be aware of the consequences of such actions and reminds: any dissemination of personal images without consent is not only a matter of morality but also of legal responsibility.
