For storm drains to work: leaves are being cleared from the streets of Mykolaiv
In the Central District, the roadway and areas along the curbs have been cleared
On November 5, employees of the ELU Avtodorih municipal enterprise cleared fallen leaves, soil, and other seasonal debris from several sections of Mykolaiv’s Central District. The work covered the roadway and areas along the curbs.
Clearing roads is important not only for keeping streets clean; it also helps storm drains function properly. This is especially important during the rainy season.
The sections where work was carried out included:
- 1st Viienna Street — from Stoliarna Street to Kolodiazhna Street and 2nd Ekipazhna Street.
- Kotelna Street — between 3rd Slobidska Street and 1st Viienna Street.
- Stoliarna Street — from 1st Viienna Street to 3rd Viienna Street.
- Mariupolska Street — from Spaska Street toward Central Avenue.
- Naberezhna Street.
Employees of the ELU Avtodorih municipal enterprise carry out this kind of cleanup every day in Mykolaiv.
