An аварія in the power grid disrupted tram and trolleybus services in Mykolaiv
Traction substations are without power, but trolleybuses with autonomous driving capability are operating
In Mykolaiv, tram and trolleybus traffic is disrupted on some routes. The cause is an accident in the power grid of Mykolaivoblenergo JSC, which left the traction substations of Mykolaivelektrotrans Municipal Enterprise without power. The Mykolaiv City Council reported the situation on November 4.
Despite the power outage, all available PTS trolleybuses continue to carry passengers. Their autonomous driving system allows them to travel up to 20 km.
Passengers are urged to plan their trips with possible delays to public transport in mind.
