Nighttime missile attack on Mykolaiv: apartment building damaged, elderly woman injured
11 private homes damaged during the day, followed by a missile strike at night: the aftermath of attacks on Mykolaiv
Over the past day and during the night of October 20, 2026, Russian forces attacked Mykolaiv Oblast with strike Shahed-type drones and FPV drones. Energy and industrial infrastructure facilities came under attack. According to the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, there were no casualties at these facilities.
During the day on October 19, a Russian Shahed-type drone attacked Mykolaiv. The strike damaged 11 private houses. At night, the enemy struck the city with a “Banderoль” missile. A 77-year-old woman was injured. Medical workers treated her at the scene. The nighttime attack also damaged the facade and windows of an apartment building and destroyed three passenger cars.
In Mykolaiv Raion, Russian forces attacked the Kutsurub community twice with FPV drones. During one of the attacks, a private house in the village of Dmytrivka was damaged. In addition, the enemy attacked the Ochakiv community three times with FPV drones.
