A terminal and warehouse burned after attacks in Mykolaiv region: State Emergency Service report for the day
In Mykolaiv, a fire engulfed 1,500 square meters
Over the course of October 11, 2026, State Emergency Service rescuers in Mykolaiv Oblast responded to 7 fires. Russian attacks sparked fires at a cargo terminal, a warehouse and in dry grass. The other fires were unrelated to hostilities.
In Mykolaiv, a cargo terminal belonging to a private logistics company caught fire following an attack by strike UAVs. The large-scale fire spread across 1,500 sq. m before rescuers extinguished it.
In Ochakiv, a missile strike damaged a warehouse and caused a fire covering 1,000 sq. m. Firefighters brought it under control.
One more fire resulting from Russian aggression broke out in Voznesensk District, where dry grass burned in an open area.
Fires unrelated to hostilities involved:
- a passenger car in the Bratske Territorial Community of Voznesensk District;
- reeds and dry vegetation in Pervomaisk District — twice — and in Mykolaiv District.
