Mobile operator Kyivstar will change tariff prices for some subscribers starting October 8, 2026. The company announced the upcoming change on September 29. Customers will receive SMS messages in advance with the new terms and information about additional options.
The operator cites increased costs for maintenance and network restoration as the reason for the price review. According to the company, fuel, equipment and other resources needed to provide connectivity are becoming more expensive. The full-scale war has also complicated logistics and made it more costly to maintain stable network operation.
The operator also emphasizes that it continues to invest in the network’s energy resilience and is strengthening backup power. This is necessary to keep connectivity available in case of possible power outages.
