The "Vivaldi" operation is ongoing near Lyman: Zelensky said the objectives have been achieved
The fiercest fighting is taking place simultaneously on three fronts
Today, on Sunday, September 27, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the results of Ukrainian defenders on the Lyman direction within the operation “Vivaldi”. According to him, the destruction of Russian military personnel in this sector continues, and the set objectives are being achieved.
“Overall, during this week across all areas of active combat on the front our units neutralized 10,660 Russian servicemen killed and wounded. And each such Russian loss is accompanied by video confirmation,” — noted Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The most intense fighting, according to the president, is taking place on the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka and Lyman directions. Ukrainian forces are also carrying out operations in the Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Sumy regions.
Based on the results of the week, the head of state separately singled out the servicemen of the 3rd Army Corps and the 68th Separate Airmobile Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush of the 8th Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
