In Mykolaiv, a police officer was killed during enemy shelling
Ruslan Tokarev is survived by his wife and two daughters
In Mykolaiv, while performing his official duties, the driver of the 2nd platoon of the response company of the battalion of the Security Police Department of Mykolaiv Oblast, Senior Sergeant of Police Ruslan Tokarev, was killed as a result of enemy shelling.
Ruslan Tokarev was born on 5 June 1977 in Mykolaiv. He began his service in law enforcement in May 2004, and in November 2015 he joined the security police. He will forever be 49 years old.
“Ruslan was a professional, responsible, and reliable police officer whom you could always depend on. He performed his duty honestly and remained faithful to the Oath,” recall the deceased’s colleagues.
He is survived by his wife and two daughters. For the Security Police unit, his death was a heavy loss — they lost not only a brave law enforcement officer, but also a loyal friend and a kind person.
