After enemy shelling and power outages in Mykolaiv, 30 trams and 56 trolleybuses went out on routes. In total, the city’s electric transport is carrying passengers on 86 vehicles today.

Earlier, when the city remained without power, some trolleybuses continued to carry passengers thanks to their autonomous mode. For this, the vehicles were charged from generators.

The company noted that difficult conditions should not stop operations, and organizational problems must be solved. In particular, generators need fuel, and during an air raid alert gas stations do not operate.

“Yes, generators also need fuel. Yes, during an alert gas stations do not operate. But for us this is not a reason to reduce operations — this is a problem that needs to be solved.”

City electric transport workers, after a difficult night, came to their workplaces, prepared the vehicles and put them into service on the routes.
