Mykolaiv U19 footballers defeated "Molod" in the opening match of the regional league

Mykolaiv football is back — and it starts with a victory!

SDYUSSHOR «Mykolaiv» U19 successfully kicked off in the regional league. On the Upper field of the Central City Stadium the Mykolaiv side defeated Poltava’s «Molod» — 2:0!

Goals were scored by Artem Holovchenko and the team’s newcomer Kyrylo Pokatylo. The second half was a tense battle, but the hosts held on to their advantage and confidently saw the match through to victory.

The return match will take place on 4 November in Poltava.

The team thanked the Mykolaiv City Council, Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych, City Council Secretary Dmytro Falk, Mykolaiv OVA, the Football Association of Mykolaiv and Kherson regions, and the staff of the Central City Stadium for their support and assistance in the team’s development.
