An apartment on the fifth floor caught fire in Mykolaiv: 24 fires were reported in the region over the past day
The fire in the apartment covered five square meters
On 1 September in Mykolaiv Oblast rescuers extinguished 24 fires. The total area of the fires exceeded 21 hectares.
One fire occurred in the residential sector of Mykolaiv — a one-room apartment on the fifth floor of a five-storey building was burning. The fire spread over an area of 5 sq. m.
Another 23 ignitions occurred in ecosystems, in open areas and within the residential sector. Most fires were recorded in Mykolaiv Raion — 14. 4 cases occurred in Bashtanka Raion and in Mykolaiv, and 1 each — in Voznesensk and Pervomaisk raions.
Units of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv Oblast promptly responded to all reports and extinguished the fires.
