Team Spirit, with a Ukrainian on the roster, won The International in Dota 2

The Serbian team Team Spirit won the main tournament in the esports discipline Dota 2 — The International. In the final they defeated Team Vision with a score of 3:2. The winning roster included the Ukrainian Ilya «Yatoro» Mulyarchuk.
In the deciding match Ilya Mulyarchuk played for Team Spirit, and for Team Vision — Volodymyr «No[o]ne-» Minenko. For Mulyarchuk this success became his third victory at The International: he had previously won the tournament in 2021 and 2023.
The winners received $1 421 873 from the total prize pool of $3 345 665. 16 teams from 9 countries participated in the competition, and there were 6 Ukrainian players among them.
The International is the main tournament in the Dota 2 discipline. It has been held annually since 2011, and the best teams are invited to the competition based on the season results.
Earlier Ukraine imposed sanctions against the Russian Paralympic Committee and the Russian Esports Federation.
