More than 15 explosions in 20 minutes: mass power outages have begun in occupied Crimea
Flashes were spotted near the Tavriysk TPP
In occupied Crimea, large-scale power outages were recorded after a series of explosions. In Simferopol, more than 15 explosions rang out over 20 minutes, after which the lights began to go out in several cities on the peninsula.
The explosions were reported by the monitoring Telegram channel «Crimean Wind», which also published eyewitness videos. The post stated: «Very many explosions are heard in the Simferopol district, subscribers report».
Residents of Crimea reported bright flashes in the area of the Tavriysk Thermal Power Plant. Later, flights of jet drones toward the station were recorded.
According to the partisan movement «Atesh», large-scale power supply disruptions were observed in Sevastopol, Dzhankoy and Simferopol. Later the partisans clarified that electricity had also gone out in Kerch.
Earlier there were reports of a massive drone attack on Crimea, explosions and power outages in various parts of the peninsula.
