Employers in Mykolaiv Oblast paid UAH 10.9 billion in unified social contributions

For January–July 2026 employers in Mykolaiv Oblast remitted 10.9 billion UAH in the single social contribution. Compared with the same period in 2025, receipts increased by 16.1%, or by 1.5 billion UAH. This was reported by the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Mykolaiv Oblast.

The tax service noted that timely payment of the SSC is an important contribution by employers to the stability of the state social system and ensures protection for hired workers.

“Timely payment of the single contribution is an important contribution by every employer to the stability of the country’s social system and a guarantee of protection for hired workers,” the agency notes.

Each month employers pay 22% of the single contribution for their employees. Through the State Treasury of Ukraine these funds are automatically distributed among the state social insurance funds.

Thanks to such receipts, the state finances the payment of pensions and social assistance, as well as insurance programs in case of unemployment, illness, or accident.

The State Tax Service reminds that only legal employment gives citizens the right to social payments in case of loss of ability to work and directly affects future pensions. Every official job guarantees the employee social protection and helps fill budgets at all levels.
