59-year-old woman hospitalized, 8 strikes on one community: a difficult night in Mykolaiv region

Russian forces throughout August 14 and the night into August 15, 2026 continued to attack the Mykolaiv region with strike drones. As a result of one of the strikes in the Shevchenkivska community, a 59-year-old woman was injured. The Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported on the consequences of the enemy attacks as of 07:00 on Saturday, August 15.

According to the regional military administration, Russian forces attacked the region with UAVs of the “Shahed/Gerbera” type. In the Shevchenkivska community a 59-year-old local resident was injured as a result of the attack. The woman was hospitalized. As of the morning of August 15 her condition is assessed as stable.

The largest number of strikes was recorded in the Bashtanskyi district. During August 14 and the night into August 15, Russian forces attacked the Snihurivska community 8 times with drones of the “Molniya” type.

As a result of the attacks in Snihurivka, a farm warehouse, 2 administrative buildings and a gas station were damaged. According to the regional military administration, there are no injuries among people.

Mykolaiv district was also hit. During August 14 Russian occupying forces attacked the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities 3 times with FPV drones. There were no casualties as a result of these attacks.

Thus, over the past day and night, Russian strikes on the Mykolaiv region resulted in the wounding of 1 person, as well as damage to civilian and economic facilities in Snihurivka.
