A Mitsubishi overturned in the Mykolaiv region: the driver and five passengers were injured
Six injured people were admitted to medical facilities
9 August at about 19:55 a road traffic accident occurred on a field road between the villages of Pokrovske and Chervona Dolyna in the Shyrokivska community.
While driving a Mitsubishi Lancer, a 25-year-old man caused the vehicle to overturn.
As a result of the accident the driver and five passengers aged 6, 13, 15, 17 and 19 sustained injuries of varying severity. Doctors hospitalized all the injured to medical facilities.
Police are currently establishing all circumstances and causes of the crash. Investigators have preliminarily qualified the incident under the elements of a criminal offense provided for in part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of the rules of road safety or vehicle operation by persons who operate vehicles.
The Department for Investigation of Transport-related Crimes of the investigative department asks citizens who have any information about the circumstances of the crash to call 093 714 45 20 or 102.
