In Mykolaiv, crews are clearing the aftermath of an enemy shelling that took place on August 3. 6 multi-storey buildings and 15 private houses were damaged, 2 of which sustained very severe destruction. A woman was killed then, and 7 people were injured.

Specialists from the municipal enterprise «Pilot» and the State Emergency Service (DSNS) are working at the impact sites. They are covering damaged roofs of private houses and boarding up broken windows in apartment buildings to protect the structures from possible precipitation.

“They are performing work to cover the damaged roofs of private houses and to close broken windows in apartment buildings in order to protect the buildings from possible precipitation,” — said the city mayor’s adviser Oleksandr Herasymenya.

At the same time, city services are inspecting housing. A commission is collecting data, recording property damage and drawing up the relevant reports. This is necessary so that affected residents can receive financial assistance and compensation under the «eRecovery» program.

Specialists examine each building and, if necessary, explain next steps to residents. After the inspection reports are prepared, owners will be able to submit documents through the «Diia» app.

The joint inspection of facilities is carried out by the Department of State Architectural and Construction Control of the Mykolaiv City Council.

Applications can be submitted in person at: Kherson Highway, 48/8 — or sent by email to dabimk@mkrada.gov.ua. Consultations are provided at the phone numbers 53-31-18 and 53-31-25.
