Solar power plants will be installed at Mykolaivoblteploenergo

In Mykolaiv, the tender procedure has been completed and contractors have been selected to install solar power plants at the facilities of OKP «Mykolaivoblteploenergo».

Deputy Mayor Serhii Korenev reported on the progress of the international NEFCO project during the staff meeting on 4 August.

According to him, the winner of the tender was a consortium that includes two companies. All stages of the procurement — from the evaluation of tender proposals to the selection of winners — were carried out with the participation of consultants engaged by NEFCO.

Contracts with the winners are currently being concluded. The countdown for their signing began on 24 July and, according to the procedure’s requirements, will last approximately 30 days.

The exact start date for the installation of the solar power plants will be known after the completion of the contract signing.

According to the city council, the implementation of the project is expected to increase the energy resilience of the facilities of OKP «Mykolaivoblteploenergo» and ensure more reliable functioning of Mykolaiv‘s heat supply system.
