In Mykolaiv, a truck injured a 77-year-old woman at a pedestrian crossing
The victim with bodily injuries was taken to the hospital
30 July at about 12:55 in Mykolaiv a road traffic accident occurred involving a truck and a female pedestrian. The 77-year-old woman with bodily injuries was taken to a medical facility.
The accident occurred in the area of building 14 on Velyka Morska Street. The incident involved a Renault Premium truck with a semi-trailer driven by a 35-year-old driver and a pedestrian.
The woman was crossing the carriageway at an uncontrolled pedestrian crossing.
Investigators have provisionally qualified the incident under the signs of a criminal offense provided for in part 1 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of traffic safety rules or vehicle operation by persons who drive vehicles.
The article’s sanction provides for punishment of up to three years restriction of liberty.
