An Alabai bit a 7-year-old boy in the face: the dog's owner faces a fine and confiscation
The attack occurred on the evening of July 23 on Skhidna Street; the boy is under medical supervision and his life is not in danger
In the evening of 23 July in Voznesensk, a Central Asian Shepherd dog attacked a seven-year-old boy, causing facial injuries.
The Voznesensk District Police Department reported the incident, publishing preliminary circumstances and the actions of law enforcement following their response to the scene. More details — in the department’s statement at the link: here.
The incident occurred on Skhidna Street: the animal ran out of the yard of a private house and attacked the child while the boy was walking down the street with his brother.
Medics diagnosed lacerations to the face. The victim is under medical supervision in a healthcare facility; there is no threat to life.
Police questioned witnesses and drew up an administrative protocol against the 37-year-old owner of the dog for violating rules on keeping animals that resulted in harm to a person’s health (Part 3 of Article 154 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses — КУпАП).
The case materials will be forwarded to the court shortly. The owner may face a fine and confiscation of the animal.
