In Mykolaiv Oblast, 29 fires were registered in the past 24 hours, two — following drone attacks

On July 20 and during the night of July 21, 29 fires were recorded in the Mykolaiv region. Two of them resulted from drone attacks on Ochakiv — firefighters extinguished the blazes.

Two more fires occurred in the residential sector. In the village of Synyushyn Brid, Pervomaiskyi district, a room in a one-story residential house caught fire.

In the village of Stara Bohdanivka, of the Radisnosadivska community in Mykolaiv district, dry vegetation burned on the territory of dacha plots.

Two vehicle fires occurred in Mykolaiv: the cabin of a Ford F150 and the engine compartment of a Seat Ibiza caught fire.

In the case of the Ford F150, the owner reacted in time and extinguished the fire himself. The fire in the Seat Ibiza’s engine compartment was extinguished by firefighters.

Another 23 incidents were fires of dry vegetation, shrubs, crop residues and garbage in open areas.

Eight such fires were recorded in Bashtanskyi district, seven in Mykolaiv district, and three in Voznesenskyi district. Five more fires occurred in the city of Mykolaiv.

The total area of all fires in the Mykolaiv region exceeded 26 hectares.
