President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed order No.79/2026-rp dated 2 July 2026, appointing Oleksandr Mykolayovych Pavlov as head of the Snihurivka City Military Administration of Bashtanskyi Raion, Mykolaiv Oblast.
The document was published on the state’s official resources and came into force upon signing.
Biographical data indicates that Oleksandr Pavlov is a veteran of the Russo-Ukrainian war and a volunteer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; after the start of the full-scale invasion he joined the ranks of the AFU and served in a unit that later became the 425th Separate Assault Regiment “Skelya”.
During combat operations the serviceman suffered a severe wound and lost a leg, and after demobilization he worked as a veterans support specialist for the Snihurivka territorial community.
In March 2026 he was awarded the Order “For Merit” III degree for personal courage and for defending the state sovereignty of Ukraine.
The post of head of the Snihurivka City Military Administration was previously held by Ivan Kukhta, who now leads the city military administration of Pivdennoukrainsk.
