Russian "Molniya" drones attack gas stations: the enemy has targeted fuel stations in the Mykolaiv region

Russian forces have begun conducting targeted attacks with “Molniya”-type drones on the Snihurivka community in Bashtanka district. Civilian facilities, including gas stations, are coming under enemy strikes.

This was reported on the telethon by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim.

According to him, the occupiers began striking gas stations as a kind of “response” to successful AFU strikes on Russian fuel facilities.

“The enemy has now begun shelling the Snihurivka community, Bashtanka district. They are striking point targets with “Molniya” drones, hitting gas stations and civilian facilities. This is a kind of “response” to the fact that the AFU are burning their fuel production plants. They are attacking our civilian gas stations with “Molniya” drones.”

Snihurivka community has recently been regularly mentioned in reports about drone attacks in Mykolaiv region. The enemy uses both FPV drones and strike UAVs of the “Molniya” type across the district.

Such attacks pose a danger not only to infrastructure but also to civilians, since gas stations, roads, warehouses, community centers, agricultural enterprises and other objects attacked by the enemy are not military targets.

In practice, the occupiers are trying to put pressure on frontline communities in Mykolaiv region by striking everyday infrastructure that people depend on for life and the functioning of the local economy.
