One dead, five wounded, houses, cars and a gas station damaged: Russians launched massive drone strikes on Mykolaiv region

In the Mykolaiv region, the past day again passed under Russian drone attacks. The enemy struck communities of the Bashtanskyi and Mykolaiv districts with FPV drones, and also used “Molniya”-type UAVs. This was reported by the Mykolaiv OVA as of the morning of June 7, 2026.

In the Bashtanskyi district during the day on June 6 and the morning of June 7, Russian forces attacked eight times with FPV drones the Horokhivska, Bereznehuvatska and Snihurivska communities. The enemy also struck the Snihurivska community with “Molniya”-type UAVs. In the Horokhivska community, as a result of the attacks, four people were wounded – two women aged 68 and 48 and two men aged 59 and 21. All the injured were hospitalized. As of the morning their condition is assessed as moderate, stable, with no deterioration.

In that community four private houses, three gas stations and four cars were also damaged.

In the Mykolaiv district, the enemy attacked the Kutsurubska, Halytsynivska and Ochakivska communities three times with FPV drones. Near the village of Dmytrivka, a 64-year-old man was killed as a result of enemy shelling. Also near the village of Luparove a 23-year-old man was wounded and hospitalized. As of the morning his condition is moderate, stable, with no deterioration. In the Mykolaiv district, two cars were damaged as a result of the attacks.

The latest OVA summary shows that Russian drones increasingly pose a threat not only to coastal communities but also to settlements that until recently seemed relatively far from the front. The activity of FPV drones and “Molniya”-type UAVs against the Snihurivska, Horokhivska, Kutsurubska, Halytsynivska and Ochakivska communities remains particularly alarming.

In practice, the enemy continues to strike civilian infrastructure and people: private houses, gas stations, vehicles and civilians are coming under attack.
