Frontline communities under attack again: Russians killed a civilian and wounded four others
In the Mykolaiv region 6 June 2026 Russian forces attacked the Kutsurub and Horokhiv communities with FPV drones. The strikes resulted in a fatality and injuries among civilians. This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.
According to the regional military administration, in the Kutsurub community a 64-year-old man was killed as a result of an FPV-drone attack. A car was also damaged.
That same afternoon the enemy attacked the Horokhiv community with an FPV drone. As a result of the strike four people – two women and two men – were injured. All the victims were hospitalized. Medical staff assess their condition as moderate. The wounded are receiving all necessary medical care.
Repeated strikes on communities in the Mykolaiv region again show that Russian FPV drones have become a daily threat to civilians living in front-line areas. The enemy is targeting not only infrastructure, but also people, vehicles and the ordinary life of communities.
