In Mykolaiv over the weekend, after a thunderstorm front passed, part of a tree damaged a power line; the incident was promptly resolved by energy company crews.
Mykolaivoblenergo reported that the bad weather with strong winds and thunder damaged the city’s electrical networks, and in one district a snapped branch was hanging directly on a power line.
The company stressed that it did not postpone the emergency repairs until the start of the workweek and sent crews from the Korabelna division to the site on the weekend.
Specialists cut down the tree, restored the damaged fittings, and re-tensioned the wires to ensure a stable and uninterrupted power supply.
