🚨🏍️ In the neighborhood of Shyroka Balka in the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv, local residents complain about a group of children who regularly race through the streets on a moped and, according to people, deliberately keep revving the engine nonstop.
Local resident Anna D. in the group “Shykarna Balka” emotionally appealed to parents after another evening of engine roaring. According to her, the children pass along the same street several times a day, and possibly ride around the entire Shyroka Balka.
“Good evening, dear residents of Shyroka Balka! Whose children are these? Please, parents, talk to them. Every day, several times, they drive along the street and, most likely, ride all over Shyroka Balka, revving the engine continuously. It’s just awful!!!! Small children get scared, cry, and it really gets on adults’ nerves. Especially now, at a time when you constantly listen for every sound. I understand when a moped is used as transportation, but… I can’t call this that”.
😟 People note that the problem is not only the noise. During the war residents already live in constant tension and react to every sharp sound. And when the engine’s roar goes on without end — it causes irritation, anxiety and fear in children.
