Daily report: in Mykolaiv region a locomotive was damaged as a result of a UAV attack

Enemy attacks across the region over the past day, according to the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, as of the morning of 8 May 2026.

Throughout yesterday, Russian forces attacked the Mykolaiv region with strike UAVs of the “Shahed” type. Critical and transport infrastructure facilities came under enemy fire. As a result of the attack, was recorded damage to a locomotive. According to the regional military administration, there are no casualties.
