A manhole cover was stolen near TCK in the Korabelnyi district: cars are already getting trapped

On Sunday, April 27, in Mykolaiv near Bohoyavlenskyi Avenue a dangerous situation occurred that could have ended much worse. A Citroën passenger car fell into an open manhole with a wheel right in the middle of the roadway. According to residents, the manhole cover was likely stolen by unknown persons, leaving a real trap for drivers on the road.

Information about the incident appeared on the Contact Center page at the Mykolaiv City Council on Facebook. It is noted that the dangerous manhole is located in the area of Novobudivna (Dmytro Petukhov) Street. Residents appealed to the municipal services asking to resolve the problem as soon as possible, since such negligence can lead to serious road accidents. The communal enterprise Mykolaivvodokanal has already responded to the appeal.
