The same trash, but a different price: the executive committee raised the waste removal tariff for the Korabelnyi district

For residents of the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv, the tariffs for household waste removal carried out by KP “Obriy-DKP” are being increased from May 1, 2026. The corresponding decision was adopted by the executive committee of the Mykolaiv City Council at a meeting on April 22, 2026.

The new rates apply specifically to the collection and transport of waste.

• For mixed household waste the tariff will rise from 271.81 UAH to 302.64 UAH per cubic meter.
• For bulky waste the increase is even more noticeable: from 444.93 UAH to 561.48 UAH per cubic meter.
• Removal of renovation/construction waste will also become more expensive — from 427.74 UAH to 536.77 UAH per cubic meter.

In practice, the biggest burden will fall on those residents of the district who need to have old furniture, large items after cleaning, or construction waste removed after repairs. Once the decision comes into force, KP “Obriy-DKP” must separately inform consumers about the tariff change.

Against this backdrop, it is worth recalling that recently in Mykolaiv responsibility for clearing illegal dumping sites was redistributed. If district administrations handled this before, such work has now been transferred to municipal executors, in particular KP “Mykolaivkomuntrans” and KP “Obriy-DKP”. At the same time, the city still faces systemic problems with waste, container sites and bulky waste, and residents of the Korabelnyi district regularly complain about disorder and illegal dumps.
