It became known about the death of a resident of Mykolaiv Oblast – Ihor Oleksandrovych Yalynych. The sad news was published by the April 20, 2026 Bashtanska territorial community.
The report states that the serviceman died April 14, 2022 while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the settlement of Borova Kharkiv Oblast.
“Until his last breath he remained faithful to the military oath, to his comrades and to his native land”, – the statement says.
Ihor Yalynych was born on April 18, 1975, studied at Bashtanska School No.1, worked as an investigator in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and from 2015 took up the defense of the state as part of the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade.
“He was not only a warrior, but also a loving father who raised a son and a daughter. Today our community bows its heads in deep sorrow. We have lost a brave defender, a man of honor, strength and courage. May the good memory of Ihor Oleksandrovych live in the hearts of all who knew him, and may his name remain forever among those who gave their lives for Ukraine. Eternal memory to the Hero!”, – the statement reads.
