In Odesa, a city council deputy was found dead in a car on a street in the Primorskyi District; law enforcement reported the incident.

According to preliminary police data, the man’s body was found in a car on one of the city’s streets. A preliminary version under consideration is suicide by firearm.
An investigative-operational team is working at the scene; the circumstances of the incident are being established. Law enforcement are determining the legal qualification and preparing to enter information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations.
Local media report that the deceased is 51-year-old deputy Oleksandr Ivanytskyi, a representative of the party “Trust the Deeds”, which is associated with Odesa’s former mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
