Russia is expanding its advance in the border Sumy region — DeepState
The "red" zone near Novodmytrivka has increased from 68.15 to 73.61 km²; advances are being recorded in villages of the Krasnopil community near the border
Over the past 24 hours, Russian units recorded advances in the border area of Sumy region: changes to the front line are being recorded in the villages of Prokhody and Taratutyne of the Krasnopil settlement community, Sumy district, reports the analytical project DeepState.
Analysts clarify that this concerns a defensive sector near the state border where local assault actions have been ongoing for the past several days. Under observation are fortifications on the approaches to Prokhody and the direction from Taratutyne toward Novodmytrivka.
In the Taratutyne — Novodmytrivka sector, the area of occupied territory marked as «red» zone increased by 5,46 square kilometers — from 68,15 to 73,61 sq. km. These figures reflect dynamics on the combat map, which is updated based on verification of materials.
Near Prokhody the total area of territory controlled by Russian forces is about 4,6 sq. km, indicating a gradual expansion of the seized strip in this part of the community.
DeepState presents the changes based on analysis of satellite imagery, geolocation data, and open sources; a corresponding note on the latest movements was published on their Telegram channel.
