Four fires in the Mykolaiv region in 24 hours: one man died, firefighters saved 5 buildings

On April 14, 26 people and five special vehicles were operating; fires were recorded in Voznesensk, the village of Zavodske, and Pervomaiskyi Raion; the causes are being investigated

On April 14, four fires were recorded in Mykolaiv Oblast; one of them in the city of Novyi Buh ended with the death of a man.

The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv Oblast reports the events; details were published in their statement.

The most serious incident occurred in the city of Novyi Buh, where a private residential house caught fire. During the search, firefighters found the body of a man born in 1965. The blaze was brought under control over an area of about 50 sq. m.

Another call came from the city of Voznesensk — there the roof of an outbuilding was on fire; the fire was stopped over an area of 15 sq. m.

In the village of Zavodske of the Pervomaisk territorial community, the boiler room of a private household ignited; the area of the fire was 5 sq. m.

In Pervomaisk district, rescuers also extinguished a fire of dry grass and garbage in an open area; the total area of the fire was 10 sq. m.

Thanks to the prompt actions of the units, it was possible to save from the fire two residential houses and three outbuildings.

A total of 26 firefighters and 5 State Emergency Service special vehicles were involved in eliminating the consequences; assistance was provided by the local fire brigade “Zavodske”. The causes of the fires are being established.
